In Ancient Greek, Arkheïa means memory. The name was chosen to evoke the memories of the stones, the memories of today’s and tomorrow’s heritage.
Arkheïa was created in 2004 by the LERM, Laboratoire d'Etudes et de Recherches sur les Matériaux (Laboratory for material research and study) in order to emphasize its know-how and knowledge in mineral materials.
Arkheïa is present in 2 fields: Heritage and Design.
